When you focus on what you want in your life, it manifests in your subconscious and this is how we create our reality.
I began to use positive affirmations when I read Louise Hayes book, 'You can Heal Your Life' when I was in my late teens. I have read this book several times over the years, and I have learned so much from it.
Learning to use positive affirmations or positive mantras every day, is empowering for not only yourself but everyone around you. When others hear you say; 'I feel really great today' this immediately sets the tone for the conversation. However, when you start off by saying 'I am absolutely shattered how are you doing?' You can see that this sets a negative tone.
If you feel disconnected, discouraged or even depressed, notice what words you are using to describe how you are feeling, notice the tone in your voice. Now, put a smile on your face and say to yourself 'I am really happy to be alive!' Say this with a positive expression, and make sure you are smiling!
When we have a positive affirmation that we can use all the time, it encourages us and inspires us.
Here are a few examples:
All is going well in my world!
I am authentic!
I am beautiful!
I am a kind and generous woman!
I give love and accept love every where I go!
I am genuinely happy!
I make this world a better place!
I feel amazing today!
I am a gorgeous human being!
I am totally open to new and exciting experiences!
I am loving!
I am a wonderful friend!
I truly love who I am becoming!
Now, choose one of the above and make this your new, fabulous go-to affirmation. Say it to yourself in the mirror at least 10 times every time you look at yourself in the mirror. Say it with positive expression and a smile!
Positive affirmations can create a positive difference in how you experience your life. It only takes practice and a little bit of an open mind.
