Beautiful Souls! Surround yourself with self-aware positive like-minded beautiful souls who are only interested in a two way relationship! If you can limit your time with energy sappers (people who drain your energy) and fill your time with people who boost your energy then you will be much better off! Be aware to share conversations and share time and gifts, as you want your friends to feel the same way about you!
Nature! Being in nature or at the beach or the river is so incredibly nourishing for your soul! Whenever I can, I walk down by the river as this is where I rejuvenate my energy. Whenever I feel low or lacking in energy I go outside, look at the stars or moonlight or sit under the trees. There is nothing more rejuvenating, more energising and inspiring than being outside in nature.
Exercise! Now this does NOT mean that you need to join a gym or run every night! No way! But a little bit of exercise every few days will not only help you maintain a healthy weight but will also be so good for your soul as well! Exercise benefits your physical being, your mental being and your spiritual being. Therefore it is highly important for you to get your heart pumping at least a few times a week! You could combine exercise, nature and beautiful souls by simply walking through the park with a close friend.
You! Put You first! I know this sounds selfish but actually it is an act of self love! To be able to care for others you need to have a healthy self love first, which means your health and wellbeing come first. Start with mirror work. If you have never done this before you may think it is crazy or just plain weird but actually we all need to learn to love ourselves unconditionally, accept our imperfections and embrace our vulnerabilities! Every time you come into contact with a mirror in the next 30 days, look into your eyes and say "I Love You ....(your name)" At first you may feel a little awkward but eventually you will become more comfortable saying it! This is all about empowering you to love yourself first!
Create! If you don't paint or draw or build, sing, dance or sew then find something you do love to do that gets your creative juices flowing! It is so great to have a creative outlet to express your energy. A wonderful one I like to do every so often is create a vision board. This may take you several weeks to complete or you may decide to get stuck in and create one in a night!
Rhythm and Routine! Having a good reliable routine can help create harmony and balance in your life. Routine adds stability to our lives and helps us feel more secure. And it also provides relief for those of us who tend to take on more than we can chew!
(Don't worry there is so much more to come ...)
